WORLD POLITICS
will be covered by our friends from the 'New European' quarterly who know their way around Westminster and Strasbourg. A forum and question time are an important part of our events. Plus new book launches.

PAINTING
for the talented amateur painter/sketcher to the professional working in various media - this specially designed package includes hire of easel, instruction and guidance, plus transportation to selected sites if needed. |
GROUP BOOKINGS
for group bookings made with a 'party leader', special house party rates will apply. ie. for ten people, on a bed, breakfast and evening meal basis, a fixed rate of £40.00 per person per day would apply. |
GOLFING HOLIDAYS
There are 7 courses on the island. The hotel's set of golf clubs is available free to guests with a day ticket (approx £15) to the beautiful cliff-top golf course at Ventnor. Advance notice is recommended as this is very popular in summer. Golf lessons can also be arranged. |
RIDING HOLIDAYS
For the beginner to the very experienced, the Allandale Stables near Godshill have an excellent choice of horses. Ride through some remote and beautiful country along paths that could only be accessed on horseback. Costs from around £10.00 per hour and hard hats must be worn. |
FISHING
The hotel has some fishing gear available to guests and can arrange boat hire if advance notice of this requirement is given when your booking is made. |
